Young people talking together at an SSDP gathering

For a young person

Straight answers. No lectures.

Honest, evidence-based information about drugs, your rights and your wellbeing, plus a global movement of young people changing the policies that affect you.

Why this matters

Policies about young people are still written without young people.

Young people carry most of the consequences of punitive drug laws, arrests, exclusions, lost opportunities, and almost none of the decision-making power. Reliable information and a seat at the table change that.

1961

Year the treaty framework still shaping global drug law was signed, before most governments consulted young people at all.

Success story

A campus campaign that changed the rulebook.

“We stopped asking the university to punish students less and started showing them the evidence. Amnesty for anyone calling for help was the first thing they agreed to.”

Frequently asked

Questions young people ask us most.

No. Our chapters welcome people with every relationship to drugs, including none at all. This is about policy, not personal use.
